My first big client as a young Illustrator starting out in the early 90’s. Lots of great memories with this one. Expectations around it were low so there wasn’t a great budget on it, so it had to serve as both box cover and advertising. Here’s the original pitch for the game. If I recall, there wasn’t really anything to work off of, just that it was a fantasy game with a dragon in it and they wanted an ad that was a traditional comic page to go along with it.
